F1 PROVISION Parental survey for 30 hours from September 2017
From September 2017 families with children aged three and four years old will be entitled to an additional 15 hrs funding entitlement provided they meet the criteria set by the Government. Families who are eligible for the additional hours may not currently have formal childcare arrangements in place to cover all childcare requirements. To find out parental demand for our setting we would ask parents to fill in the survey below and return to school asap. Thank you.

THE KYLEMORE CENTRE – FLYER

If you wish to apply for a nursery place, you must fill in the nursery application form below and send it into school along with a copy of your child’s birth certificate. Our nursery is for children aged 3 and up.
If you think you may be eligible for Free School Meals please fill in the form below and return as directed.

If you need to request that the school administer medicine to your child, before we can do this you will need to fill in the form below and return to the school office.
Schools have a duty to record and monitor children’s attendance. Each Local Authority sets guidelines and procedures for their schools to follow, if children are not in school. Each Local Authority system used in schools is developed to meet national statutory guidelines and all schools must follow and act accordingly regarding attendance.
It is well documented that good attendance in school helps children to achieve.
Pupils who have absence below 90% will be monitored and reviewed regularly. This is usually every 4 weeks.
If attendance is persistently low parents/carers will be required to attend a meeting in school with the Headteacher, attendance officer and Local Authority attendance officer, to discuss improvement and ways in which the school can help.
All absence is cumulative regardless of reason.
On Friday 26th May, Year 6 will be holding their annual ‘Charity Day’ for all the children from Nursery to Year 5.
This year we have decided to share the money raised between Cancer Research UK, Autism Together, Claire House and Ronald McDonald House.
On Friday 26th May your child may come to school dressed in their own clothes.

On Wednesday 13th January 2016 we held 2 meetings about the New Primary Curriculum in our school and how we are assessing this new curriculum. These were very well attended, but if you couldn’t make it, the presentation and parent booklet can be downloaded (see below). If at any time you wish to discuss this with class teachers, please let us know and we will arrange an appointment for you.

This is the flyer for our Film Night 2015. Please print it off and complete the slip. You can return this to the school office with the correct cash payment. You need to return this to the school office on Friday 27th November at the latest so that we can order correct amounts of food. Thank you.

The new signing in system for staff and visitors is almost up and running. This will also be used if you come to collect your child to print permission slips and will also record late arrivals electronically (thankfully late arrivals are rare in our school).
School Lunches – a reminder that you can pay for these daily through TUCASI.
Details of the PTA fashion show are below. Tickets are on sale at the school office and at the school gate in the morning. Film night details will be sent home shortly.
School closed for the half term break on Friday 23rd October. We reopen on Tuesday 3rd November at 8.40am.
