School Uniform Expectations

We believe that a consistent and smart school uniform helps to create a positive learning environment, promotes a sense of pride and supports all pupils in feeling that they belong.

Main School Uniform

• Black trousers, shorts, skirt or dress
• White polo shirt (plain or with school logo)
• Burgundy sweatshirt or cardigan (plain or with school logo)
• Plain black shoes or plain black trainers

Summer Uniform 

• Red or yellow summer dresses or summer shorts/playsuits and these can either be striped or checked.
• Smart black school shorts can be worn instead of trousers or skirts, but these must not be PE shorts.

PE Kit

Children should come to school wearing their PE kit on their allocated PE days (including sessions with Full of Beans and class teachers). This helps maximise learning time and ensures a smooth start to lessons.

• Black shorts, leggings or jogging bottoms
• Black sweatshirt or hoodie
• White t-shirt (plain or with school logo)
• Trainers or pumps

Important:

• Children should wear the correct PE kit—not their own sportswear
• Jewellery must be removed for PE lessons
• Earrings may be taped if they cannot be removed

Forest School (Year 3)

For Forest School sessions, children should wear:

• Full school uniform
• A waterproof coat (and waterproof trousers if available)
• Appropriate outdoor footwear such as wellies or old trainers

If a particularly muddy session is planned, parents will be informed in advance.

Jewellery and Accessories

To ensure safety and consistency:

• One small pair of stud earrings only (no hoops or dangly earrings)
• Earrings must be covered for PE
• No rings, bracelets, or necklaces
• Smartwatches are permitted, but messaging and camera functions must be turned off during school hours
• Hair accessories should be simple and in school colours (burgundy, black or white)
• Large or novelty headbands are not permitted (except on non-uniform days)

Uniform Supply

We aim to keep uniform affordable for all families. Many supermarkets provide suitable items at reasonable prices.

For logo uniform, items are available from local suppliers across Wirral, including:

Pre-Loved Uniform

We are proud to offer a pre-loved uniform shop to support our families and encourage sustainable living. The uniform is handily located in the main school entrance and stock is regularly updated with most pieces in excellent condition. 

Labelling Uniform

Please ensure that all items are clearly labelled with your child’s name. This helps us return any lost items quickly.
