SEND
At Pensby Primary School, we believe that every child is unique and has the right to a high-quality education that helps them thrive. Our commitment to inclusion means that we welcome and support all learners, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
We work closely with families, staff, and external specialists to ensure that every child receives the support they need from the earliest possible starting point. Our aim is to create a nurturing environment where all children feel valued, confident, and able to achieve their full potential.
On this page, you’ll find information about how we support children with SEND, our approach to early identification, the strategies we use to promote learning and wellbeing and information about the referral process to external agencies who can offer expert support and advice.
For more detailed information, please refer to our SEN Information Report, which outlines the provision we offer across the four broad areas of need, as well as how we work with families and professionals. You can also read our SEND Policy, which sets out our principles and procedures in line with the SEND Code of Practice.
